Is This Hike Right for Me?
Our guided rainforest hike is beginner-friendly for many guests, but it does include natural trail surfaces, stairs, roots, rocks, wet boardwalks, and some uneven sections. Ketchikan is a rainforest, so the trail may be muddy, slippery, or damp depending on the day.
We recommend this tour for guests who are comfortable walking about 2 miles at a relaxed pace and can manage short stair sections and uneven ground.
Not sure if the main trail is the best fit? We also offer private tours that can be customized with an easier route, more stops, a slower pace, or less walking while still enjoying the rainforest, waterfall, beach, and scenic views.
